The house
This house, old town hall and school, becomes family property, making it my great-grandparents a hostel, and taking care to closure my grandmother Genoveva, hence its name. Years later recovery and rehabilitate personally modestly while maintaining the overall structure and giving to light the original stone, restoring doors, windows and some furniture to keep the original rustic style throughout the home.
Although the house is located in Natural Park , 150 meters from a manufactures shielded by trees that emits a slight constant noise audible from the terrace and garden. However , the house is proofed by stone walls and double glazing .

Low level 2 (people)
The lower floor of 25 m2 is an open studio with bathroom and basic kitchen withous oven and microwave. Capacity for 2 people.
The rent of the house is full, guests only share the entrance and gardens.
The price includes wifi, basic utensils in bathroom and kitchen, fireplace and heating.
Upper floor 6 people
The upper part of 90 m2 consists of 3 double bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen with oven and microwave, terrace.
Capacity for 6 people.
The apartment is for private use, only the hall and the gardens are shared. The price includes Wi-Fi, basic kitchen utensils (pots, pans, plates, ...), washing machine, fireplace, heating, microwave and metal barbecue.
What to do
Garrotxa offers many nature-related activities. From hiking and biking, balloon rides cavallo or, through tourist trains, among others.
Cruscat volcanoes and Santa Margarida with hermita inside are very spectacular and a walk through the Fageda d'en Jorda.
Castellfollit de la Roca with its impressive basalt cliff and the medieval village of Besalú complete a short routes ideal for half day or full day area.
From the house and no crowds
You can make walking routes, whether short as the Romanesque bridge Cosei, which is a five minute walk, and where in summer you can make a refreshing swim, to the views of small and unfrequented volcan d'Aiguanegra, or to Santa Pau through the forest path for the more adventurous.

Location
The house is located in the center of the village, with only four neighbors and a twelfth century Romanesque church. Just where the natural park of the volcanic zone of the Garrrotxa begins, and the western part delimits a factory shielded by elms.
Olot is 6 km, the Fageda de'n Jordà and major volcanoes 10 km. The car is necessary because public transportation is not well connected. However there is the A-26 just one kilometer, which communicates with the Costa Brava, Girona and Vic at 40 min, 15 min at Besalú, 25 min to Banyoles lake or Camprodon in 25 min too.
